January Update & Oshawa Intensification Study

It has been a while since our last newsletter. Primarily due to some exciting events personally. I was married in December and spent several weeks in Mexico for our honeymoon. It was great to get away, recharge and refocus. Now, back to work with renewed vigor, we are ready to tackle 2024!

Our December business' review
Quick bungalow turn around

Recently, we were hired to renovate an existing bungalow in December. The original contractor did not show up when it was time to start the project.

The home owner turned to us to see if we could complete the remodel. The goal was to have the home livable in 3 weeks so she could be back in her house for the holidays.

Three weeks later, we were happy to be able to meet her timeline and have her back in her home before the holidays began. With a new door and window this project will be all wrapped up!

Coach House nearly complete

Our most recent coach house will be complete shortly. We have a lease signed for a move in January 15th, we are excited to have another home ready for a great family!

Infill and Coach House Project Coming Up!

New Intensification study in Oshawa

We are excited to see that Oshawa is undergoing another intensification study. This one is along the Bloor st and Simcoe st corridor. Why are intensification study’s exciting news? When properties are slated for higher density you will be less likely to have to rezone properties in order to complete a higher density project.

Essentially this has the possibility to shorten timelines for developments in this area once the rezoning is complete.  This is another small step in helping us to achieve our housing targets.
